Sodexo Motivation Solutions launches new tool to gauge employee engagement

Leading motivation solutions provider Sodexo Motivation Solutions has teamed up with the employee research specialist Insitas to launch a new ground breaking employee engagement survey for modern businesses called SayEngage at the CIPD Annual Conference.

SayEngage is underpinned by psychological research which focuses on the importance of internal motivation to engagement. This means that the questions in the SayEngage survey explore what employees do rather than purely what they think. As a result they have an active rather than a passive focus.

Measuring engagement is the first step towards improving performance across the whole of a company. Research demonstrates that engaged employees are more productive, less likely to leave, provide better customer service and tend to be more innovative.  Insitas will be able to provide consultancy support throughout the SayEngage process, whilst Sodexo Motivation Solutions will be able to provide expert advice on the use of incentives and rewards to address all the problem areas identified as appropriate.

Kevin Harrington, director of Sodexo Motivation Solutions said:

“The launch of SayEngage marks a new direction in measuring employee engagement.  The business world has changed dramatically over the past 20 years, which means that modern employees now have very different needs and drivers which existing research models simply didn’t capture.”

Maggie Drye, managing director of Insitas, added:

“As businesses move towards recovery, it will be more important than ever to get the most out of your employees.  It’s not surprising that employee engagement has become the latest HR buzzword, but what is surprising is how many surveys are out there that don’t really focus on the areas that matter most to engagement.”

Harrington, concluded:

“Employee engagement has become a serious boardroom topic and SayEngage now gives businesses a much more robust way to accurately measure engagement.”
